I know that this is a little late, but here it is nonetheless. Back in March, during spring break, my choir buddies and I ventured out into the great unknown and went on tour. Okay, it really wasn't anything that dramatic, but it was a blast and I had loads of fun. The Maranatha Baptist Bible College Chambers Singers traveled all the way from Wisconsin to Maine on our two week tour. We were able to stop at places like Chicago, Niagara Falls, the Norman Rockwell Museum, and my home church! I was able to meet so many new people on tour. For 14 days straight, I stayed in a different home with different people from the choir. So not only did I meet a lot of new people, but I made a lot of new friends in the choir as well. There were a couple girls that I get especially close to and I am very glad for their friendship.
One of the best parts of choir tour was the fact that I got to stay at my own house for one night. My pastor called the school and asked that our church be a stop on the tour and so it was. My parents had 5 of my closests friends and I stay at my home. We had fun talking, surfing the internet, and watching a movie. It was good to be home again after being away for a couple months, but it was also sad because it would be another couple months before I would be there yet again.
The most important part about choir tour was the chance that I had to get closer to God. My devos during that two weeks were amazing. I learned so much and learned a lot about trusting God. I was able to get some wise, godly advice from a friend and grow even closer to God. The best part about it is that I was able to get past something that had been burdening my soul for a long time. It was amazing how such a peace and contentment overwhelmed my soul when God finally took that burden away and for that I am so thankful. I am sure that I was not the only one who learned a lot on tour. I sure that God worked in each and everyone of our lives to bring us closer to Him. So even though the kittens were out for a good time, God worked in their lives and brought them closer to home than ever before.

Great to hear from you again (even if the tale is a little past due)! Can't wait to hear other exciting tails from an Alley Kat--like "A Wedding Tail". . .
